Solid timber flooring is available in several species, thicknesses, widths, lengths, and grading (select, standard & feature grade).  The grading is distinguished by selective gum veins, spirals, burls, insect trails and other natural features that give timber floors their unique character, as individual as a signature.  Flooring is not graded on colour variation or grain patterns as they form the natural  beauty of timber flooring.

Each species has a janka rating which is the hardness rating level, the higher the number the greater the hardness. The timber is of tongue and groove profile and is precision milled providing a wear layer that can be refinished, providing a lifetime of enjoyment. Restoring the finish to previous glory by sanding and finishing.

Engineered timber flooring

Engineered flooring consists of a multi-layer construction and uniclic profile.  The click lock system seamlessly integrates into your space.  Available in Australian Species, European and French Oak. Also provided in raw enabling you to select the finish you prefer and add your unique style or offered pre-finished which can provide the matt brushed texture.

Engineered offers a range of nominal top layer most popular being 4mm or 6mm.  It really depends on lifestyle and this allows for resanding and recoating which helps to restore the original finish. Some brands have a click-and-lock mechanism or alternatively tongue-and-groove versions and we glue all floors into place for a successful fitting.
